In one of the bedrooms there is a bunk bed, in the other one an additional single bed. The veranda offers a large TV and a panorama view of the surrounding mountains and the valley. The newly renovated bathroom has a modern shower. This non-smoker apartment has two balconies and is provided with hairdryer and several clothes drying racks. This apartment is on the 2nd floor, without a lift.

Description
The Edelweiss house is situated on a small side road next to private houses, meadows and pastures. The mountain bike route and the cross-country trail pass by the house and a supermarket and a café are within walking distance. The nearby restaurants and “Gasthäuser” offer excellent local dishes. The apartments of the former bed and breakfast were sold individually and renovated by their new owners. Some of them are now used as private apartments and others still provide holiday homes for guests.In summertime comfortable trails invite you to walking trips along the valley and around the beautiful lake Gosau, and the surrounding montains offer hiking in which old huts and swamp meadows can be discovered in an alpine environment. Because of its central location, Gosau is the ideal starting point for mountain hikes and alpine climbing tours in the Dachstein area and around the Gosaukamm. On top of that there are roads open for mountain biking.
The Gosau Valley is situated in the Salzkammergut, surrounded by mountains and with a wonderful view of the Gosaukamm. The area around Gosau is a well-known hotspot for beautiful landscape and natural as well as cultural history in Austria. In the neighborhood you may discover beautiful lakes, nature reserves, different kinds of caves, an old saline to visit, Bad Ischl, the former summer residence of the emperor, the UNESCO world heritage city Hallstatt as well as traditional museums and cultural happenings throughout the year. Gosau offers vacation for athletes, families with children as well as for retired people.
