Sunrise on the Krippenstein

This is not a guided hike!

The sunrise on the Krippenstein is a real highlight! After the sun has risen, you can enjoy breakfast in the Dachstein Krippenstein mountain restaurant - the perfect start to the day! 

And the best thing about it: great hikes and mountain tours in the extensive Dachstein massif also start from here, for example on the 5 Fingers or on the Heilbronn circular hiking trail.

Attention: Please arrive 20 min. BEFORE departure at the meeting point Dachstein Krippenstein cable car valley station.

• Children 6-15 years: € 50.70 
• Children 0-5 years: free of charge

• This is not a guided hike!
• You pay directly at the ticket office at the valley station before the ascent!
• We recommend the spot at the World Heritage Spiral for the sunrise.
• Breakfast in the Dachstein Krippenstein mountain restaurant is located at the exit of the 2nd section. 
• The sunrise tour can only be carried out in suitable weather conditions! You will be informed by telephone in the event of a weather-related cancellation.
• The first opportunity for a descent is at around 9:00 am. But of course you can spend the whole day at the Dachstein Krippenstein and, for example, go on a short hike (5Fingers, Heilbronner Rundwanderweg,...) or visit one of the caves (Rieseneishöhle, Mammuthöhle,...)
